MEET THE INTERNATIONAL SPEAKERS

Speaker: Susanne Kraatz

Susanne Kraatz is currently working as a national expert in the Economic and Scientific Policy Department of the European Parliament. She is responsible for providing analytical support to the Employment and Social Affairs Committee. 

Before that, she was member of the Work Group on Youth Guarantee of the European Commission. 

Kraatz was a representative in the European Lifelong Guidance Policy Network (ELGPN). Besides, she was in charge of project management as the European Vacancy Monitor and a mutual learning program of the European Commission for Public Employment Services in Europe (PES-to-PES Dialogue). 

Furthermore, she worked as teacher and head researcher at the Hochschule Mannheim  
University of Applied Sciences and the Trier University. 

Her research topics address career guidance, case management, and employment policies for adults.  

Speaker: Maria Do Céu Taveira​

Maria Do Céu Traveira is professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Roma Tre (Italy) in teaching skills and continuous training. 

She is also a lecturer in adult education at the Universities of Bolzano and Padova. 

Her studies and research focus on the topics of skills, adult guidance, and continuous learning. 

Since 2013, Traveira is President of the European Federation of Centers for Skills Balance and Vocational Guidance (FECBOP) and one of the founding members in 2005. 

She was also Project Manager of Cras where he carried out several European projects. 

She is involved in the world of social pedagogy and is the author of numerous essays and articles. 

Speaker: Emanuela Proietti

Emanuela Proietti is a professor at the Department of Edyucation Sciences at the University of Roma Tre (Italy). Teacher of the Organizational Learning Laboratory  (hinged in the chair of Sociology of organizations) 

Expert in learning and organizational development, with particular reference to methods and tools for lifelong and lifewide learning (Balance of skills; ePortfolio; identification and validation of non-formal and informal learning and certification of skills).

She is member of CRES IELPO, the Centro di Ricerche e Servizi per l’Innovazione, l’Educazione, il Lifelong Learning per le Person e le Organizzazioni e per il Bilancio di Competenze, del Dipartimento di Scienze della Formazione di Roma Tre, in qualità di ricercatrice e formatrice .

Speaker: Paolo Serreri

Paolo Serreri is a professor at the Department of Education Sciences at the University of Roma Tre (Italy). He teaches competencies and continuous training. 

He is a lecturer at the Universities of Bolzano and Padova in adult education.

Speaker: Anna Serbati

Anna_Serbati

Anna Serbati is professor at the University of Padova, Padua (Italy). 

Her field of expertise is research on adult learning. It is based on a specific approach to processes and assessment tools for evaluation and certification of competencies acquired in formal, non-formal, and informal contexts. 

She conducted a post-doctorate in the field of academic innovation and teacher professional development at the faculty of Padova, where she is currently teaching skill assessment.   

Her main lines of research are academic innovation, teacher training, collaborative teacher reflection, evaluation, and peer feedback. 

Serbati published plenty of articles and book chapters, a monograph, and international conference papers.  

Since 2011, Anna has been collaborating with Tuning Academy on several projects related to skills-based learning. 

Speaker: Raimo Vuorinen

Raimo Vuorinen is the Project Manager at the Finnish Institute for Educational Research (FIER) at the University of Jyväskylä (Finland). 

Vourinen is an adjunct associate professor in the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, at the Gimli University of Iceland. He is also an affiliate professor in the Faculty of Education and the Centre for Labour Studies at the University of Malta. 

His main field of research is concerned with the development of evidence-based lifelong guidance policies and the use of ICTs in guidance. 

From 2007 to 2015, he was the Coordinator of the European Lifelong Guidance Policy Network (ELGPN). Besides, from 2011 to 2019, he was a member of the Executive Board and Vice President of the International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IAEVG). 

Vourinen has been on the Board of the International Center for Career Development and Public Policy (ICCDPP) since 2011. 

Ponente: Astrid Viviana Rodríguez

Astrid Viviana Rodríguez holds a Ph.D. in “Diversity and Socio-Educational Development” from the University of Valladolid (Spain), validated by the Ministry of National Education (Colombia). She has Post-doctorate studies at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Florianópolis, Brazil), with the research entitled “Management and impact of Virtual and Distance Education in Colombia, perspectives and realities of Higher Education, a case study of the Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios”.  

She is part of the Education Department of the Ministry of National Education (Colombia). She is also Director of the Master’s Degree in Education at UNIMINUTO. Moreover, she served as Academic Vice-Rector of UNIMINUTO Virtual and Distance from 2012-2018. Meanwhile, she was a teacher, researcher, and tutor in the Research and Communication field, especially postgraduate studies. 

As Social Communicator, she is a Journalist specialized in research, administration, and management. IGLUISTA since 2013, she was a manager of strategic projects that potentiate Virtual and Distance Education in Colombia. In particular, she managed the Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios, UNIMINUTO. Her management method was based on adaptive leadership that promotes the development of Virtual and Distance Education. She achieved this through teamwork, continuous responsibility, permanent dialogue, and agreement based on the purposes of the Institution.
